Graveyard Production Shift Supervisor | $29-$31/hour DOE | 6pm-6am Rotating Days
GLISS is hiring a Graveyard Production Shift Supervisor in Salem, OR! If you’re a natural leader with experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, this role offers a chance to take charge of a production team dedicated to quality and safety.
As the Production Shift Supervisor, you’ll work alongside your team to ensure the efficient and safe production of high-quality wood pellets. This hands-on role is perfect for someone with a commitment to continuous improvement and a passion for coaching and motivating others.
JOB DETAILS

Oversee and work side by side with your team in the safe, efficient production of wood pellets

Coach, lead, and manage a production crew, setting the standard for housekeeping, quality, and productivity

Monitor shift performance and coordinate improvement initiatives as needed

Ensure a safe work environment for all employees on the shift

Operate and manage key production systems: green in-feed, dryer, dry hammer mill, kiln dried, pellet mills, and other essential equipment

Accurately maintain production and downtime records, supporting improvement and accountability

Administer the personal development program for team members, providing coaching and growth opportunities

Serve as a qualified relief in all positions, covering for absences as needed
REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

3-5 years of leadership experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team effectively

Mindset focused on continuous improvement and safety

Ability to maintain a high standard of organization and housekeeping on the shift
SCHEDULE:

Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6pm-6am
