We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pump Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be capable of maintaining a full understanding of assembly and repair of all AOD pumps and many distribution products. Able to train junior department members in the procedures necessary to maintain product quality. Ability to take a leadership role in ensuring that all jobs are completed within manufactures specifications and in a timely and safe manner. Also, will be an important part of the scheduling process and have a basic understanding of other operating departments and how they interface with other areas.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure that all assembly work is completed in a timely and safe manner and that it meets all manufactures specification.
- Training and support of appropriate personnel
- Primary interface with other operating departments.
-Maintain an active role in the work scheduling process
- Ability to perform trouble shooting operations over a wide variety of situations involving AOD pumps and controls
-Support the Quality program and demonstrate understanding of its procedures. Ensure all members of department have a full understanding of procedures in place and the procedures are being followed
- Be well versed in the use of measuring tools used in the repair area. Follow the concepts of first article and final inspection when needed. Ensure that all members of the department know and follow the inspection procedures.
- Well versed in repair and maintenance of all machinery in department
- Ability to work in the machine shop area with the basic machinery used in preparation for assembled units
- Be well versed in trouble shooting pumps by observing parts
-Maintains organization of the assembly area
- Assists in misc. tasks as needed such as physical inventory counts, helping out in the industrial pump repair area etc.

Skills
- High mechanical aptitude with a minimum of one year mechanical repair, Basic understanding of chemicals and PPE.
