Stain Line Operator

Interested in a Warehouse Associate (Stain Line Operator) position that pays $20/hour to start?

 A local, family-owned, specialty lumber company in Tualatin is looking for someone to join their stain department team.

 This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position, that offers excellent benefits upon permanent hire.

Warehouse Associate (Stain Line Operator) Job Duties:

• Placing raw materials or products into manufacturing machines to aid the process
• Packaging finished products and organizing them for shipments
• Completing checks on equipment and products to ensure quality production 
• Hanging material on racks to dry before coating
• Prep material for coating by pre-racking and staging
• Assure material and coating are correct
• Assist in moving product to correct area in yard/warehouse
• Provide assistance in hanging material, packaging, inspection, material handling
• Maintain clean and safe working environment
• Accurately expedite daily shipments as directed by the lead
• Capably stock and remove overstock as directed
• Always observe and exhibit all workplace safety procedures
• Operate forklift, electric lifts, and all other machinery competently and safely
• Proficient in the accuracy of the “picking” and knowledge of paint and sundry products
• Exercise proper picking and stock rotation practices
• Perform other duties as requested

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday, 6am-5pm. 

Warehouse Associate (Stain Line Operator) Requirements:

• Good attitude—willing to learn!
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Very physical--ability to lift up to 50lbs consistently 
• Very fast-paced environment!
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company product codes and terminology
• Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures
• Good analytical skills

Pay: $20/hour
