Custodian

GLISS Staffing is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian. As a Custodian, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring that all custodial services meet the contract requirements and customer specifications. This role is crucial in upholding our company's high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Custodial Duties: Perform general cleaning tasks, including but not limited to cleaning restrooms, vacuuming, removing trash, and other miscellaneous services.

• Safety: Ensure all tasks are performed in a safe manner, adhering to company safety protocols and procedures.

• Quality Standards: Meet or exceed the quality standards required by customer contracts, paying close attention to detail in every task.

• Independent Work: Make decisions independently and manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks.

• Driving: Operate company vehicle to each assigned work site for the shift.
  

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to push/pull up to 20 pounds.

• Ability to carry up to 40 pounds regularly.

• Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs, and moving the entire body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
  

Qualifications:

• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.

• Ability to work independently and make decisions without direct supervision.

• Previous custodial experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
