We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable and Receivable Clerk.
This role involves managing the company's financial transactions and maintaining accurate financial records.
Responsibilities:

Prepare work by gathering and sorting documents and related information

Verify and pay invoices, schedule and prepare disbursements, and obtain payment authorization

Compute charges, process refunds, prepare and mail invoices, and obtain revenue

Remind delinquent accounts and notify customers of insufficient payments

Collect, analyze, and summarize account information and trends for financial reports
-
Maintain accounting ledgers by posting account transactions
-
Reconcile statements and transactions to verify accounts
-
Investigate documentation, issue stop payments and adjustments to resolve account discrepancies
-
Follow internal accounting controls to maintain financial security
-
Complete database backups to secure financial information
-
File accounting documents to maintain financial historical records
-
Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed
Qualifications and Skills:

High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Strong customer service and negotiation skills

Proficiency in mathematics
Education and Experience Requirements:

Associate degree in a related field is a plus

3 years of accounting experience preferred
