GLISS Staffing is seeking a dedicated Laborer to join a small , family owned excavation company! The ideal candidate will have experience in performing various construction tasks and a willingness to grow and learn how to operate heavy equipment.
**This position requires a valid driver's license and a clean driving record**
Duties:
- Operate backhoes, water trucks, graders, loaders, and other heavy equipment as needed.
- Assist in horizontal drilling, bulldozing, paving, and other construction activities.
- Perform mechanical tasks and maintenance on equipment.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
Experience:
- Prior experience in backhoe operation, water truck operation, heavy equipment operation, and loader operation.
- Familiarity with horizontal drilling, grading, bulldozing, and paving techniques.
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance is a plus.
