As they continue to grow, they are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Mechanic to help keep operations up and running so they can carry out their mission!

Maintenance Mechanic Overview: The Maintenance Mechanic will perform day to day maintenance support to the plant and production activities

Key Responsibilities for the Maintenance Mechanic:

  • 1. Possess general knowledge of electrical and mechanical blueprints, able to use simple shop math, and to read/understand company, local, state, and federal electrical codes
  • 2. Installs, operates, maintains, checks, and trouble-shoots all types of A/C and D/C electrical equipment
  • 3. Installs, operates, maintains, and checks all types of mechanical equipment
  • 4. Possess a general knowledge of the following equipment:
  • -Mig/Tag welding equipment
  • -Arc welding equipment
  • -Gas cutting equipment and plasma cutting equipment
  • -Power tools such as drill presses, cut off saw, lathes, mills, and table tools
  • -Electrical test equipment such as voltmeter, ohmmeter, Magyar, ammeter
  • 5. Uses safe working practices and reports all hazard conditions at all times
  • 6. Read and make proper installations of general electrical circuits from wiring diagrams as instructed
  • 7. Performs PM and repair work in accordance with AIB and Food Safety principals
  • 8. Diagnoses and employs proper procedure of troubleshooting to determine when parts need replacement and when repairs are necessary
  • 9. Dismantles, repairs, and re-assembles gearboxes, fans, conveyors, blowers, compressors, pump, valve, and allied mechanical equipment when directed
  • 10. Dismantles, repairs, and re-assembles electrical motors, relays, timers, and all allied electrical equipment

Qualifications:

  • 1. High school diploma/ Equivalent GED or Mechanical trade school and 2-4 years of maintenance mechanical,
  • 2. Maintenance electrician experience.
  • 3. Mechanical experience or Maintenance electrician in food processing setting (Desired)
  • 4. Limited Maintenance Electrician License (desired)
  • 5. Mig/Tig welding experience
  • 6. Good Communication Skills
  • 7. Good Math Skills
  • 8. Training Skills
