Position Overview: The Packaging Associate will be responsible for ensuring that products are packaged efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with company standards. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate packaging machinery according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Monitor production line to ensure proper functioning and identify any issues or discrepancies.
- Package products according to specifications, including weighing, labeling, and sealing.
- Perform quality checks to ensure that all products meet company standards for freshness, appearance, and integrity.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sanitizing equipment and disposing of waste properly.
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking packaging materials and recording production data.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including food safety regulations and GMP guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in packaging or food production preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if needed.
