Schedule: Monday - Friday 6am- 2:30pm

GLISS General Labor & Industrial Staffing Solutions is hiring for a locally owned and operated modular construction company 20 minutes outside of Salem, OR. This position is responsible for constructing building modules using sub-assemblies fabricated by other crews within the Framing Department. It must perform functions in a safe manner, ensuring efficient use of time and materials while honoring Blazer’s commitment to quality workmanship.
Job Duties
-
Assemble sub-assemblies per construction blueprint (floors, walls, roofs, etc.)

Install specified blocking and strapping
-
Roof close-up
-
Install underlayment material and vinyl flooring as needed.

Cross-train in other Framing areas.

Other duties as assigned.

Experienced in the operation and use of equipment, fabrication of components and materials used by the Tiedown crew.

Must be able to read tape measure.

Ability to read construction drawings.

Excellent communication skills. Must be able to speak and understand the English language to conduct daily business (training, safety, job assignments, etc.).

Basic math skills.
