GLISS General Labor & Industrial Staffing Solutions is currently seeking a Construction Estimator/Salesperson to join a locally owned and well-established specialty construction firm in Salem, Oregon. This position offers the ideal opportunity to establish a career with a prominent commercial and residential construction company.

Construction Estimator/Salesperson

Full Time

Salary: $18-$22/hour DOE

Job Responsibilities:

• - Obtain project-related information from potential customers through office and field visits, telephone inquiries, and email correspondence.
• - Prepare project labor, material, and time cost estimates by gathering proposals.
• - Ensure timely completion of estimates.
• - Present prepared estimates by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
• - Maintain quality service standards by adhering to organizational guidelines.
• - Document and communicate actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs to corporate and field work teams.
• - Contribute to team efforts and success by achieving related results.
• - Stay updated on technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing technical publications.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• - Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and other construction software.
• - Ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines.
• - Strong problem-solving skills.
