Maintenance technician- MULTIPLE SHIFTS

GLISS General Labor & Industrial Staffing Solutions is seeking Maintenance technicians for a local food production facility in McMinnville, Oregon. As a Maintenance technician, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of production and facility equipment, contributing to the consistent delivery of high-quality products.

Schedule:

• Sunday through every other Wednesday (1^st half of the week)

  • Day Shift: 5AM – 5PM

  • Night Shift: 5PM – 5AM

• Every other Wednesday through Saturday (2^nd half of the week)

  • Day Shift: 5AM – 5PM

  • Night Shift: 5PM – 5AM

Shift 1 – Sunday – e/o Wednesday Day Shift

Shift 2 - Sunday – e/o Wednesday Night Shift

Shift 3 - e/o Wednesday – Saturday Day Shift

Shift 4 - e/o Wednesday – Saturday Night Shift

Pay:

• $25.00/hour - $36.00/hour DOE

Job Duties:

• - Perform installations and repairs on a wide variety of facility equipment fixtures and systems

• - Effectively communicate with production and mechanical teams regarding concerns, maintenance issues, and other mechanical needs

• - Conduct electrical repairs and troubleshoot PLC controls, motor controls, circuits, and grounding

• - Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities

• - Assist in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues

• - Inspect components of industrial equipment for accurate assembly, installation, or defects

• - Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders

• - Perform plumbing maintenance, carpentry functions, and building and ground maintenance

• - Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment

• - Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)

Requirements:

• - Ability to identify and report any Food Safety issues

• - Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)

• - Basic math and Office 365 skills

• - Prior experience in a maintenance program preferred

• - Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing facility

• - Availability for any shift, including rotating schedules and overtime

• - Fluency in English for job-related tasks

Physical Requirements:

• - Frequent sitting, walking, bending, and squatting (up to 13 hours)

• - Occasional kneeling, reaching above the shoulder, and working at heights

• - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and maneuver full drums of chemicals with assistance

• - Manual dexterity for handling equipment and materials
