GLISS General Labor & Industrial Staffing Solutions is hiring for a local hotel in Tigard, OR. Our customer is searching for MULTIPLE housekeepers to add to their growing team. Their goal is to offer each of their guests high-quality lodging accommodations at a reasonable price, delivered with professional service in a friendly environment. To be a truly excellent hotel, they need exceptional people. Do you notice when the grocery checker thanks you and calls you by name when you check out? Does it bother you when your bank teller is more interested in chatting with their co-worker about their plans for this evening than helping your with your money? Do you tip well when you receive good service from a server at a restaurant? If you notice the details about guest service, and think you have what it takes to provide service on a “Grand” scale then we want to talk to you!
**Must have weekday and weekend availability**
$16/hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The essential duties and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Vacuuming, mopping and sweeping floors and carpets.

Dusting, brushing, polishing, wiping, and straightening furniture, appliances, and surfaces.

Changing linen and making beds.
-
Cleaning showers, toilets, tubs, sinks and bathroom fixtures.

Removing used guest amenities and trash.
-
Inspecting rooms for lost and found items, safety hazards or damage and reporting same to supervisor.

Maintaining storage rooms and housekeeping carts.

Comply with established safety, sanitation standards, personal hygiene, and health standards.
Essential Physical Requirements: The essential physical requirements for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
-
Constant standing, bending, kneeling, wiping, lifting, pushing, pulling during entire shift.

Work indoors 100%.

Lift up to 50 lbs
