GLISS General Labor & Industrial Staffing Solutions is hiring for a unique job where IT and marketing are blended together for a local fencing company in Salem, OR. Our ideal candidate would have knowledge as a IT Technician / Web Marketer. As the IT Technician/ Web Marketer, you will be responsible for ensuring our computer systems, networks, and equipment are operating at peak performance.
As well as the ability to design and manage company websites. This role is vital to the smooth operation of our company and allowing us to reach our business goals.
Responsibilities
Provisioning and system setup for new hires.
Install antivirus software and ensure virus definitions are up to date.
Server administration via Active Directory, File & Print services
Perform preventative maintenance, including checking and cleaning of workstations, printers, and peripherals
Establishing good relationships with all departments and colleagues
Valid Driver License
Work with sales to provide pre- and post-sales support, including tasks such as discovery meetings, site visits, and proposals
Deploying and managing Windows Servers and Active Directory
Designing Local Area Networks
Implementing and monitoring network security
Optimizing and maintaining network software and hardware
Building and deploying file servers and cloud computing solutions
Configuring and deploying VOIP solutions
Performing network infrastructure troubleshooting
Manage Microsoft Exchange Server
New User On-boarding
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum of 4 years hands-on experience configuring, troubleshooting and repairing networking equipment, Windows servers and workstations, Exchange server and Active Directory
Three years of experience in a client-facing environment such as sales engineering
Minimum 2 years’ experience with web design
Possesses strong organizational and time-management skills
Results-oriented, self-motivated, energetic, professional, reliable, and a team player
Strong understanding of technology and business productivity systems
Ability to problem solve at a high level, extraordinary customer service skills, strong multi-tasking, and organizational skill
Sales training experience is a plus
