Quality Control

GLISS General Labor & Industrial Staffing Solutions is hiring for Quality Control for a local food production facility in Salem, OR that has an IMMEDIATE opening on day shift. We are searching for a QC (quality control) candidate who can perform routine QC testing, sampling, visual sorting, and data entry per SOP instructions.

**HIGHLIGHTS**

Monday-Friday

10am-6:30pm

$16/hr-$18/hr DOE - FULL TIME, longterm to hire

**NO PRIOR QC EXPERIENCE IS NEEDED**

-Must have lab experience and/or basic experience with responsibilities - example: line check etc.

-Must be able to communicate read and write in English and feel comfortable with using a computer

**ENTRY LEVEL IS OK**

Job Duties:

-Maintains work area and equipment in an organized manner

-Performs routine QC testing, sampling, visual sorting and data entry per SOPs/work instructions

-Completes daily GMP Audits of production areas

• Reports any problems or observations regarding Quality of Fruit and Safety Hazards to QA/QC coordinators.

Requirements:

-Bilingual preferred *not required

-Must work well with others

-Must be self motivated

-Must have good communication skills

-Must be able to read and write English

-Must have reliable transportation

-Must be able to or be trained to work on a computer and input data
