GLISS General Labor & Industrial Staffing Solutions is hiring for Machine Operators for a Night Shift for a local food production facility. Everyday millions of protein bars roll off the production line at our customer and as an operator we rely on you to independently keep everything running smoothly in your production area, but you are also a real team player who considers the various steps in the production process.
This job is located roughly 45 min outside the Salem area & 30 minutes outside of Newberg- MUST have transportation to and from work.
$19/hour + 2.50/hour shift differential = $21.50/hour on Night Shift as a machine operator
Hours: Shifts are twelve hours long 5:00pm-5:00am and rotate from three to four days a week
Key Components to be successful:
-You know how to get to work and you like the fact that not every day is the same.
-Able to commit to 12/hr evening work schedule
- A little flexibility in your work schedule, and ok with a little overtime. We offer day, swing, graveyard, and adding weekend shifts mid 2023.
-You speak fluent English. Bilingual preferred. We do offer positions where limited English is ok!
Your Job:
-You start up the machines, set them up and make adjustments where necessary.
-You make the perfect mix of ingredients for our delicious products or make sure they end up in the right packaging.
-You check whether everything runs smoothly, e.g. quality of the dough, welds in the packaging, automatic stacking of the boxes.
-Together with you, we look at which step in the production process best suits your qualities and which function suits you best.
