Skilled Carpenter

Pay: $22/hr
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Day Shift
Location: Hillsboro, OR

Company Overview:
A respected and growing commercial carpentry company is seeking a skilled carpenter to join their expanding team. This is an excellent long-term opportunity for someone experienced in finished carpentry and commercial build-outs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with metal and wood framing for walls, partitions, and ceilings

• Install drywall, backing, blocking, and fixtures

• Measure, cut, and assemble materials according to specifications

• Operate power and hand tools safely (saws, drills, nail guns, etc.)

• Install doors, hardware, trim, and other commercial interior components

• Assist with concrete formwork or demolition as needed

• Read and follow blueprints, layout marks, and supervisor instructions

• Maintain clean and safe commercial job sites

• Load, unload, and stage materials and tools

Qualifications:

• Experience in carpentry required

• Ability to read basic plans, layouts, and measurements

• Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in an active construction environment

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Reliable, safety-focused, and punctual

Schedule Details:

Full-time day shift. Typical workdays are 8–10 hours, Monday through Friday.
