Position: Food Production Machine Operator
Wage: $17.50/hour
Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 2pm - 10pm
Location: Salem, OR
GLISS is now hiring reliable, hard-working individuals to join a fast-paced bottling and packaging facility in Salem, OR. Willing to train individuals with limited machine operating experience but MUST have food production experience, at least 1 year. Ability to learn quickly and perform more detailed work in a loud and busy environment.
JOB DETAILS:

Operate pressing machinery to manufacture food products.

Stand for the entire shift in a fast-moving environment
-
Reach, bend and press throughout the entire shift.

Package, label, and stack finished products as needed.

Inspect products for quality and consistency.

Maintain a clean and sanitary work area.

Follow all food safety and company guidelines.

Support the team with general production tasks as needed.
REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

Must be able to stand for full 8-hour shifts

Ability to lift and stack boxes regularly 30-50lbs

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Attention to detail and ability to follow safety rules

Prior food production or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required
SCHEDULE:

Swing Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
