The ideal candidates will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess a strong foundation in laboratory techniques and safety protocols. They will be responsible for maintaining a clean and functional lab environment, preparing samples and ingredients, and accurately documenting all procedures and results.
Job Highlights:

Pay: $22/hour + $2.50 shift differential

Schedules: 3-4 day work weeks with set shifts

Available Shifts:

Shift 4: Thursday– Saturday Every Other Wednesday , Night Shift (8 PM – 8 AM)
Responsibilities:
-
Prepare nutrition bars on a small scale in R & D lab.
-
Maintain lab ingredient inventory, order new supplies, and ensure proper storage and disposal of materials in compliance with safety regulations.

Keep R & D lab clean and organized.

Submit finished samples to current and potential new customers.

Accurately record data, observations, and results from experiments. Assist in the initial analysis and interpretation of data and report findings to the R&D team.

Aid in maintaining and updating ingredient product specifications.

Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment.
Requirements:

Computer Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Attention to Detail: must be able to perform tasks with precision and accuracy

Time Management: possesses excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks

Problem-Solving: has the capacity to identify and address minor technical issues or unexpected experimental results.

Must adhere to GMPs, GLPs, and SOPs.

Must be able to lift 50lbs occasionally.

Previous experience in food production or manufacturing preferred

Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand/walk for 12-hour shifts
