A local metal recycling company is looking to add a Baler Operator to their team. This is a full-time position on day shift paying $19/hr.

Responsibilities include:

• Move product or materials in and out of the warehouse-using forklift.

• Operate the two-ram baler in a manner that produces bales acceptable for market

• Create uncontaminated bales of material

• Maintain a clean work environment

• Daily inspection of equipment conditions to ensure safety, cleanliness, and organization.

• Willing to perform other incidental duties as required and assigned by management.

Skills and attributes:

• Ability to operate a forklift.

• Strong ability to perform multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to maintain composure in a stressful work environment.

• Knowledge of safe equipment operation including but not limited to front end loader, forklift, shear, wire stripper, two-ram baler and tote tipper.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Working in an outdoor/warehouse environment; some repetitive mechanical work.

• Frequent lifting, frequent computer dexterity; pushing, pulling, walking, climbing stairs, standing, kneeling, twisting, vision, hearing, talking.

• Must be able to lift up to 49lbs unassisted.

Pay: $19/hr

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm
