CNC Machinist

Local Cabinet Shop seeking a Skilled CNC Machinist to join their team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machinery to fabricate and build high-quality components. This role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a commitment to producing precise work. The CNC Operator will collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient production processes while adhering to safety standards.

Duties

• Operate CNC machines, ensuring proper setup and calibration for optimal performance.

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations.

• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.

• Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure reliability and efficiency.

• Collaborate with team members on projects involving masonry, caulking, cabinet installation, and remodeling tasks.

• Utilize power tools effectively for various fabrication and installation tasks.

• A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach

• Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.

• Strong understanding of machining processes and techniques related to fabrication and installation.

• Mathematical skills to understand complex calculations and to make precise measurements.

• Proficient in the use of power tools and machinery relevant to the industry.

• Ability to read technical documents such as blueprints and schematics accurately.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
