Job Title: Shipping Clerk Specialist
Location: West side OKC
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week (with mandatory overtime as needed)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk Specialist to join our team. This role requires a high level of precision and organizational skills to manage the preparation and documentation of shipments, including Bills of Lading and export information. This position offers a stable work environment with the opportunity to play a key role in our shipping and logistics operations.
Requirements:

Background Check: Must pass a national background check (No felonies)

Drug Panel: Must pass a drug panel (No medical marijuana permitted)

Physical Exam: Must be able to pass a physical

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Skills Required:

Strong data entry skills and attention to detail

Excellent organizational abilities

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Proficiency with computer systems and ability to learn shipping software

Experience with shipping regulations is a plus

Communication skills for effective teamwork and clear documentation

Experience operating a pallet jack and forklift (preferred)

Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
Essential Job Functions:

Shipping Documentation: Generate Bills of Lading and fill out required domestic shipping documentation

Carrier Coordination: Schedule pickups with freight carriers and coordinate with freight forwarders as needed

Labeling & Documentation: Affix labels and other required documentation to shipments per customer and legal requirements

Order Verification: Review Sales Orders to ensure any special instructions are followed accurately

Engraving & Tagging: Enter information into software to engrave and affix tags, and drill holes into caps as required

Packing & Quality Assurance: Pack valves with protective foam, visually inspect for quality, and ensure secure crate packaging

Order Handling: Use pallet jacks to move orders, and drive a forklift to stage and load shipments

Team Support: Assist in other areas of the department as needed
