The Service Pump Technician is responsible for:

 

1. Functioning, testing, operating and maintaining all equipment including any subsea tools, submersible pumps, surface jet pumps, hydraulic hose reel & power units in order to safely support dredging operations

2. Troubleshooting issues arising with equipment on site and making repairs as needed

3. Communicating with rest of crew and coordinating use of pump with crane operator. Tech will have to be on deck during pumping operations to give direction to the crane operator.

4. Ensuring safe handling of all equipment and reporting safety hazards to crew leader

5. Following company and crew safety processes and procedures at all times. Tech has the experience with the dredge pump to safety operator the pump. Understanding the lock out tag procedures is critical because divers will be utilized during the pumping operations.

6. Understanding flow rates and jet pressure to the dredge pump is critical to achieve the maximum production rate.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum experience as a Field Service Technician- 2 years

  • Experience Maintenance and Servicing mechanical equipment

  • Experience with serving and repairs on Pumps and hydraulics.

  • TWIC CARD required

  • Capable of working away from home for 30 days+ at a time.

 

$17/hr- $22/hr
