Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled CNC Operator to join our production team in manufacturing high-quality grabs, grapples, and clamshell buckets for bulk material handling equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for operating CNC machinery to produce precision components used in our heavy-duty attachments, ensuring they meet exacting quality and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC machines (lathes, milling machines, plasma cutters, etc.) to machine steel components for grabs, grapples, and clamshell buckets.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and part specifications related to large-scale fabricated equipment.

Load raw steel or metal stock and oversee machining processes to ensure accuracy and quality.

Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify tolerances.

Adjust machine settings and offsets as needed to maintain production quality.

Collaborate with welders, fitters, and assembly teams to ensure smooth workflow.

Conduct routine maintenance on machines and report mechanical issues promptly.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.
Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; trade or technical school certification is preferred.

Minimum 2 years of CNC machining experience, preferably in heavy fabrication or industrial equipment manufacturing.

Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documentation.

Familiarity with machining large steel components and working with tight tolerances.

Basic knowledge of CNC programming (G-code) is an asset.
