Laborer

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer(Must be bilingual) to join one of our clients team in a lumber yard facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Assisting customers with selecting lumber and other building materials, answering questions, and providing excellent customer service.

• Sorting, stacking, and pulling lumber based on size and type.

• Maintaining adequate inventory, pulling special orders, and ensuring proper storage and organization of lumber and other materials.

• Loading and unloading shipments, including customer vehicles and delivery trucks.

• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe outside yard, including clearing obstructions, and ensuring proper stacking and storage techniques.

• Building outgoing orders for lumber and building materials, often using forklifts.

• Operating forklift.

Experience

• Physical strength and stamina.

• Bilingual (Spanish/ English)

• Ability to operate machinery.

• Knowledge of safety procedures.

• Communication and customer service skills.

• Organizational skills.

• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating quantities.

Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
