Production Painter

FlexForce is looking for Production Painter's:

Responsible for the direct hands-on labor necessary to completing the aircraft painting process to company and customer specifications.

Duties:

• Compliance to all health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and processes, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Cleaning and preparing the operational areas of the site for aircraft painting activities;

• Staging the aircraft for the aircraft painting activities prior to the commencement of the aircraft painting process;

• Masking activities to protect the "not-to-paint" areas of the aircraft;

• Pre-paint preparation of the "to-paint" areas of the aircraft, including but not limited to cleaning, paint removal and sanding and abrading as may be required by process;

• Positioning of stencils and other production aids which facilitate the aircraft painting in accordance with customer specifications;

• Mixing Paints;

• Painting with electrostatic and HVLP equipment;

• Reads and interprets aircraft paint drawings and follows them accurately to accomplish paint job and ensures regulatory, emergency and other customer placards are correct. Reads instructions and all cautions/warnings/notes information as necessary for proper and safe completion of assigned work

• Installing mandatory and technical marking to the aircraft by paint or sticker decals as required;

• Ensures proper cleaning and maintenance of spray guns and other painting equipment.

Secondary Duties:

• Supporting aircraft painting activities

• Cleaning technical areas

• Organizing production materials

Working conditions:

• Climate Controlled Aircraft Hangar

• Exposure to loud noise

• Exposure to chemicals (proper PPE and training provided)

• Able to work safely at heights or confined spaces

• Fast paced environment

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift, crawl, kneel, bend and rotate without restrictions

• Ability to walk/stand and climb stairs for majority of shift

• Able to climb and walk-up industrial scaffolding in multiple sections

• Able to lift up to 50lbs

• Must be able to wear respirator and other required PPE during shift

Scheduled: (Rotatable)

• 1st shift 7am-7pm

• 2nd shift 7pm-7am

Pay rate:

• $18.00

Able to pass drug test and Background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $18.00 per hour
