Job Title: Receiving Forklift Operator

Pay Rate: $17/hr.

Shift: 8:30 AM- 5PM

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Receiving Forklift Operator to join our team. This role is responsible for operating a sit-down forklift to load, unload, and move materials, as well as performing yard checks to ensure trailers are properly staged, available, and free from damage. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working both indoors and outdoors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a sit-down forklift to load, unload, and transport materials.
• Walk the yard to inspect trailers and ensure they are free from damage.
• Verify that the correct trailers are on-site and properly staged for receiving and shipping activities.
• Report any trailer or equipment damage to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with general warehouse and yard organization as needed.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of forklift experience (sit-down forklift preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

• Warehouse and outdoor yard setting.
• Exposure to varying weather conditions and forklift traffic.
