Site Manager

FSS Staffing is seeking a Site Manager to oversee daily operations at our transport packaging materials facility in Pittston, PA. The Site Manager will ensure compliance with customer and company standards, maintain quality and safety protocols, and foster strong relationships with both customers and internal teams. This position requires on-site presence and a proactive approach to managing a fast-paced environment.

Job Description:

Position: Site Manager

Direct Report: Operations Manager

Salary: $55,000-$60,000/per year

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations in alignment with customer and company standards.
• Foster positive relationships with customers and internal associates.
• Provide timely and accurate production, labor, and maintenance reports.
• Lead a safety program that meets OSHA standards and company policies.
• Oversee a quality system compliant with company and SQF standards.
• Lift up to 55 lbs. consistently and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Maintain effective communication with customers and upper management.
• Fulfill additional duties or requests in a fast-paced work environment.
• Be available after hours via phone or email; assign alternate contacts during unavailability.
• Expect occasional overtime; flex-schedule to accommodate extra hours.

Skills and Knowledge Preferred:

• Experience in transport packaging and production-based warehouse environments.
• Knowledge of food safety management and 5S lean manufacturing principles.
• Ability to operate a forklift in a fast-paced environment and obtain necessary certifications.
• Strong multitasking skills in managing a dynamic work environment.
• Effective verbal and electronic communication abilities.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of previous warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment; management experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Email.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective communication channels.
• Full-time, on-site position; no work-from-home option unless approved by Production Control Manager or Director of Operations.
