Machine Operator – 2nd Shift
Location: Dallas, TX
Pay: $19.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:45 PM (with overtime as needed)

Exegistics is hiring Machine Operators to support one of our valued clients that provides enabling technologies for industrial growth markets requiring advanced technology and high reliability. These markets include aerospace and defense, factory automation, air and water quality environmental monitoring, electronics design and development, oceanographic research, deepwater oil and gas exploration, medical imaging, and pharmaceutical research.

Position Summary
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating wire and cable machinery, including extruders, braiders, stripers, bunchers, planetary, re-spoolers, and twinners. This position requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to quality and safety standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Set up and operate machines following written work instructions and safety protocols.
Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
Start and monitor machines to ensure optimal performance and consistent cable quality.
Observe operations to detect malfunctions and troubleshoot process issues as they arise.
Maintain accurate production documentation and follow all quality standards.
Participate in cross-training for multiple machine operations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals).
Proficient with measuring tools (micrometer, caliper, measuring tape, etc.).
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Demonstrated commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work extended hours when needed.
Team-oriented, respectful, and willing to cross-train in other areas.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 3 months of related manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
Equivalent education and experience will be considered.
Physical Demands
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to distinguish colors.
Personal protective equipment (PPE) required, including safety glasses and safety toe shoes.
