Summary:

As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the performance and reliability of industrial machinery and equipment. From troubleshooting to preventative maintenance, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining optimum production capability.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Safety First: Embrace all safety practices and procedures, including wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and following lock out/tag out (LOTO) protocols.

- Hands-On Maintenance: Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment, using diagrams, manuals, and your expert knowledge to keep things running smoothly.

- Troubleshooting Pro: Dive into mechanical issues on production equipment, adjusting and repairing as needed to keep production flowing.

- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all production equipment meets safety and quality standards before it hits the floor.

- Facility Maintenance: From plumbing to HVAC, you'll handle it all, ensuring our facilities are in top-notch condition.

- Team Player: Communicate effectively and professionally with colleagues, providing support and fostering a collaborative environment.


Education and Experience:

- Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year technical school, plus three to five years of related experience, or a combination of education and experience.

- Practical knowledge of electrical controls, pneumatics, hydraulics, and gear boxes is a must.


Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations:

- Forklift certification is required.


Skills:

- Language: Communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing, with your fellow team members.

- Computer: Basic computer skills are necessary, along with the ability to learn department-specific software.

- Mathematical and Reasoning: Apply your mathematical and reasoning skills to troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and carry out instructions effectively.


Physical Demands:

- This role requires physical agility, including standing, walking, lifting, and operating a forklift. Reasonable accommodations are available.


Work Environment:

- Embrace the hustle and bustle of a fast-paced environment, where you'll be exposed to moving parts and occasional environmental factors.


More Highlights:

- Training provided on the first shift (6:00 AM - 2:00 PM) for 1-3 months, with the opportunity to transition to the second shift (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM).
