searching for a Mechanical Engineer 

Candidate must possess a positive and helpful attitude, be self-motivated, with knowledge in metal fabrication, manufacturing process, structural metal experience helpful. 

Experience with Solid Edge (preferred) or similar computer programs (ex. Solid works/Inventor). 5 years of Mechanical engineering experience is a must.
 Bilingual, English/Spanish would be very helpful. Must have experienced working with gears/gearmotor’s/hydraulics/air flow.

Duties:

• Fabrication of drawings
• Structural Analysis some
• Mechanical Analysis / drawings
• Help improve manufacturing process
• Help specify parts and materials
• Technical guidance / Troubleshooting
• Work on product design and improving manufacturing processes
• 
  

Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in a production metal working
• Strong proficiency with Solid Edge modeling of parts, assemblies, and drawings
  • Or Solid works/Inventor
• Mechanical, Structural
• Electrical knowledgeable, is a plus
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook
• Bilingual in Spanish, is a plus
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Experience in food machinery fabrication, design
• 
  

Experience:

• Solid Edge or (SolidWorks/Inventor): 5 years (Required)
• MS Word, Outlook, Excel: 5 years (Required)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Draft sight or similar computer programs preferred: 5 years (Required)
• Mechanical engineering: 5 years (Required)
• Minimum 1 year or more of applicable experience in the analysis of structural systems using strength of materials and finite element-based methods

Desired Skills:

• Experience with manufacturing-based ERP systems, such as Made to Manage, is a plus.
