General Labor Position- San Gabriel Valley Area

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a General Laborer. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks that contribute to the efficient operation of our organization. Responsibilities:

1. Physical Labor: Perform a variety of physical tasks, including but not limited to lifting, carrying, and moving materials, equipment, and products.
2. Construction Support: Assist in construction projects by providing support to skilled tradespeople, operating basic hand tools, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
3. Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload materials from trucks, ensuring proper handling and storage to prevent damage.
4. Site Cleanup: Keep work areas clean and free of debris, ensuring a safe and organized environment for all team members.
5. Equipment Operation: Operate basic machinery and equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, following safety guidelines and procedures.
6. Assistance to Skilled Workers: Assist skilled workers, such as carpenters or electricians, with tasks as needed.
7. Assembly and Disassembly: Participate in the assembly and disassembly of structures, equipment, and temporary installations.
8. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
9. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
10. Adaptability: Be flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

1. Physical Stamina: Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks and lift heavy objects.
2. Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
3. Reliability: Punctual and dependable, with a strong commitment to attendance and completing assigned tasks.
4. Basic Skills: Ability to use basic hand tools and follow instructions.
5. Safety Awareness: Knowledge of and commitment to safety regulations and guidelines.
6. Adaptability: Willingness to learn and take on new challenges as needed.
7. Previous Experience: Previous experience in a general labor or construction-related role is a plus.

Education and Certification: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Forklift certification and other relevant certifications are a plus.
