E-Coat Operator

E-Coat loaders are responsible for line set up and scanning parts into computer and hanging uncoated parts onto conveyor.   The E-Coat Operator is responsible to unload the line and inspect coated parts. The operator is responsible to package parts as required (including wrapping or layering parts in cage). The operator will scan quantities, piece counts and weights into the computer, print label and apply sticker Essential Job Functions: • Follow safety and environmental procedures • Come to work everyday, on time as scheduled • Proficient communication skills • Understand and follow maintenance Lock out Tag Out procedures when applicable. • Use computer to enter part information/inventory in ERP system • Visually inspects all coated parts to ensure quality adherence. • Ability to use motorized walking stacker • Load & unload line as required using standard work • Follow packaging requirements Qualifications: • High School Diploma or GED • Proficient and basic math and computer skills • LO/TO awareness level training. Work Environment: The work environment is a metal fabrication machine shop. • Indoor, noisy, hot in summer months
