ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN -BOE $15.00-$17hr per hour
Monday - Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
Friday: 7:30am - 2:00pm
We are currently hiring for Assembly Technicians for a locally owned
business in Madison, AL!
Qualifications for Assembly Technician:

Employee will use different types of tools and perform a variety of tasks to accomplish the exterior assembly of emergency vehicles (installing doors, lights, etc.). The company will furnish the electrical and air powered tools

Employee may be required to accurately read and understand a tape measure and engineering drawings.

Should be proficient with using many different types of power tools (both electrical and air powered). Employee should also have his/her own hand tools to work with.

Experience doing work related to carpentry tasks, such as trim work, using a tape measure proficiently and being familiar with drill bits.

Previous experience in mechanical assembly, metal cutting, drilling or mounting is a plus.

Previous work in an automotive manufacturing environment is helpful
The following is an example of different types of tools the candidate should be familiar with:
· Compound miter saw
· Band saws
· Radial arm saws
· Drill press
· Table grinder
· Jig saws
· Routers
· Die grinders
· D/A sanders
· Cut-off tools/ Hand drills and drivers
The following is a minimum tools list the candidate will need to have before starting work for the company:
· Standard wrenches 3/8” to 3/4”
· Standard screw drivers, both Flathead and Phillips-head #6-#8
· Standard socket set 1/4” drive
· Standard socket set 3/8” drive
· Needle nose pliers
· Channel locks
· Tape measure
