CNC Machinist

Position Overview:

The Machinist role assists in setting-up and running CNC mills and other machine shop equipment in a safe and efficient manner, compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operation of all other machine shop equipment.
• Apply broad knowledge of machining skills.
• Communicate production issues to the appropriate parties in order to ensure timely problem resolution.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 2-3 years machining experience with vertical and horizontal milling machines.
• Preferred 2 years technical or trade school 
• Ability to use hand tools -   
• Mechanical aptitude -   
• Ability to interpret part drawings -   
• Effective communication skills
• Good problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs 
• Able to sit or stand for long periods of time
• Follow company safety regulations: mandatory steel toe footwear and safety glasses
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to communicate with other departments in a professional and respectful manner
