DecisionPathHR is hiring for a Machine Operator in the South Charlotte area!
The Plate Line Machine Operator position is a vital member of the Manufacturing Team
Responsibilities include
• Flexible work assignments between departments as workload and staffing dictate
• Operating Plate Line Machines (Spot-welder(inside of the machine), folder, straightener)
• Deburring parts from multiple Manufacturing Departments
• Claiming operation in computer system with quantities
• Working in other departments to improve production (passivation, shipping, weld-spot weld that is inside of a machine)
• Collecting and disposing trash and recycling from Manufacturing, Shipping yard, and front office
• Assisting in set-up of JMS company functions (parties, lunches, etc.)
• Others as needed by Supervision
• Follow all JMS, Inc. policies and procedures
Qualifications
• Safety conscious
• Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly
• Ability to arrive to work on time (5:00 am – 4:30 pm, M-Th, OT as required)
• Desire to learn and to continue developing knowledge and skills
• Capable of driving forklift
• Ability to be flexible in work assignments
Desired Experience and Skills
2 years in a manufacturing environment
