Job Summary

To build or assemble in cooperation with team members a high quality motor as safely and quickly as

possible in compliance with the Quality Policy.

Major Responsibilities

• Ability to work independently and efficiently in handling assigned responsibilities.

• Perform machine and quality checks as outlined on work instructions.

• Must inspect in process parts and finished product to insure compliance with standards.

• Must be able to effectively communicate process/product problems.

• Requires good communication with team members.

• Requires shift work and overtime.

• Punctual presence (attendance and timeliness) on assigned work days.

• Must be alert, working in an area of automation and constant moving equipment.

Minimum Qualifications for the Job (education, experience, other)

• Requires High School Diploma or GED equivalent (must fulfill NC state or federal educational

requirements).

• Prefer 1+ year’s experience (preferably in a manufacturing environment).

• Must be able to read and demonstrate an understanding of the operator instructions.

• Must be able to write as demonstrated through the completion of the employment application.

• Effective verbal, listening and communication skills

• Requires work in an environment with limited movement.

• Requires good hand/eye coordination due to the repetitive nature of the job

• Requires constant standing and moving 8-12 hours per day

• Must be able to constantly lift and carry up to 35 lbs.

• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and kneel.

• Must be able to apply up to 66lbs push/pull force unassisted.

• Must be able to reach overhead.
