ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Telesales Representatives will supplement the company’s field sales efforts by calling existing customers who
meet a specified set of conditions (declining, lost or new users). Telesales representatives are responsible for
the following tasks:
· Manage a call list that is provided to the Telesales representative each month to maximize the number of
targets reached by phone
· Quickly evaluate the data provided to determine the best approach to reach a decision maker on each call
· Quickly evaluate the data provided to determine the reason for the call (declining, lost or new user) and the
offers available for each account
· Use Salesforce CRM system to log all call results
· Use Salesforce CRM system to aid in the discussion with the customer
· Close orders on the phone, verify items and quantities to ensure customer receives correct items
· Email information to accounts to aid in follow up discussions
· Schedule follow up calls, if needed, to reach decision makers or close orders
· Log orders in Salesforce CRM system
· Call dealers to place orders, verify items and quantities to ensure customer receives correct items
· Review and update product knowledge to ensure successful call outcomes
Telesales Representatives are expected to meet or exceed the following goals:
1. Minimum of 60 outbound dials per day following training period
2. Minimum of $10,000 in on-the-spot sales per month
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High energy, self-motivated, competitive individuals. Minimum high school diploma.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Previous outbound sales experience preferred. Familiarity with computers. Previous experience with
Salesforce helpful.
ADDITIONAL NOTES
Telesales Representatives spend the majority of their time at a desk and on the phone. A high degree of
concentration is required. Product training will be provided along with basic inside sales training and Salesforce
