To manually finish printing ribbons in order to achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and annual production targets.
Shift:
Days- 6:00AM-6:00PM 2,2,3 Rotation
Pay: $16.00
Duties, Responsibilities & Authority:
• To perform on one of the “stations” to finish and package printing ribbons. The stations are slitting and splicing, attaching take up core, banding and packaging, and carton and box. Packaging associates should move between each operation on a regular basis.
• May lift materials and finished products up to 35 lb. Slitting and splicing, and attaching take up core requires sitting during entire shift. Banding and packaging, and carton and boxing requires standing entire shift.
• Help train employees and temporary employees.
• Recommend productivity improvement plans and cost reduction plans (Total Productive Maintenance activity). Investigate and analyze causes of target frustration.
• Facilitate internal communication and working relationships within areas of responsibility.
• Operate production machines and complete all required duties associated with Machine Operator job description as necessary.
• Other duties as required.
Job Qualifications
• Required: High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Packaging or assembly experience preferred.
