CNC Grinder/Machine Operator - Temp-to-Hire ?? Davenport, IA | Starting Pay: $16-$19/hr DOE Shifts Available: 2nd (3 PM - 11 PM) & 3rd (11 PM - 7 AM), M-F The Role: Join an employee-owned metal tool manufacturer specializing in drill bits and metal parts. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position operating modern CNC machines (grinders/machinists) to produce high-quality precision products. What You'll Do: Prepare, operate, and monitor CNC machines for fluting operations. Read blueprints and interpret mechanical drawings. Load materials and inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications. Maintain open communication with the team. Requirements: CNC machining experience is preferred, but training is provided for mechanically inclined candidates with machine operating experience. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally. Must pass a national background check and drug test. Must have longevity on current resume.
