Shorter Job Description: CNC Operator in Davenport, IA Job Title: CNC Operator – Machining Tools & Metal Parts Shifts: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts (M–F, 40+ hrs) Pay: $16 – $19/hour DOE Position Type: Temp-to-Hire long term Summary Join a leading metal tool manufacturing company in Davenport as a CNC Operator. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with an employee-owned company offering competitive pay and excellent benefits (401(k) matching, PTO, health benefits). We are looking for operators to run modern CNC machines for the production of drill bits and metal parts. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines (drilling, grinding, milling). Read and interpret blueprints/mechanical drawings. Load raw materials and monitor machine performance. Inspect finished parts for quality and adherence to specifications. Maintain strong attention to detail and communication. Physical requirement: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally. Requirements CNC machining experience preferred, but we will train mechanically inclined candidates with prior machine operating experience. Must pass a national background check and drug test.
