Job Summary:

Our client, an industry leader in engineered building solutions located in Mansfield, TX is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 1st shift. This is a temp-to-perm position that offers a great opportunity to join a dynamic team full time, based on performance.

Responsibilities:

• Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair.
• Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs.
• Plans repair work using buildings blueprints or equipment manual as needed.
• Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures.
• Performs routine maintenance on building systems.
• Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities.
• Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements and skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology, or a relevant field is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
• Physically capable and available to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
• Effective problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be well-organized and have the ability to prioritize tasks.

Starting Hourly Pay: $23.00+ DOE

Days: Monday-Friday

1st Shift 5 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
