Accountable for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting production assembly & service lines, machinery/equipment at workstation positions including:

  • Ability to learn job functions and follow instructions.
  • Operating machinery/equipment to install a piece/part/component of an in-process product, assembly, sub-assembly, or service as it moves along the operations line
  • Able to utilize job packet drawings, routings and complete required reporting.
  • Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan assembly procedures prior to starting assembly
  • Able to follow and utilize shop-floor order tracking & identification 
  • Follows repair and return processes to ensure high quality and short cycle time of repair and return.
  • Determine the appropriate equipment or method based on requirements
  • Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods
  • Obtain the materials to be used in the unit
  • Must operate manual and powered tools to prepare the parts that are being produced
  • In-process monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re-manufacture faulty products
  • Maintaining accurate daily production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis
  • Checking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints
  • Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety (preventive maintenance)
  • Maintains, organizes, and cleans equipment and the work area.
  • Notifies supervisor when faulty equipment or defective materials are discovered 
  • Other duties as assigned
