The Assembly Technician Level 1 is responsible for meeting production schedules and Work Orders assigned by the Assembly

Technician Lead. The key focus is on quality, completion, and precision.

The Assembly Technician Level 1 is accountable for the following functions and responsibilities:

x Complete basic sub-assemblies independently.

x Read work orders.

x Complete, and report production.

x Assemble simple finished products with instruction.

x Accurately place part identification on finished goods.

x Follow instructions of Assembly Technician Lead.

x Maintain required attendance and punctuality as scheduled to meet production goals.

x Perform other functions and responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

The Assembly Technician Level 1 must at a minimum possess the following:

x High school diploma or GED.

x One year of experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.

x Ability to work in a team-oriented, high-pressured, and fast-paced environment.

x Ability to comprehend production requirements.

x Ability to speak, read, and write the English language fluently.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The Assembly Technician Level 1 must be able to:

x Lift a minimum of 50lbs, repeatedly, without assistance and up to 100lbs with assistance.

x Push/pull heavy objects with the proper equipment.

x Wear the appropriate PPE when required (i.e., safety glasses or side shields, steel-toe footwear, etc.).

x Stand for long periods of time; up to 8-12 hours a day.
