CSS is working with a respected Healthcare System in need of a dining service associates, cooks, and cashiers to exhibit a friendly, and caring attitude to hospital patients when introducing the Selective menu program, taking menu selections, delivering trays, inquiring during catering rounds and retrieving trays.

Dining Room Service Associate:
Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.

• 3 plus years of experience working in the food service industry performing food preparation, dish washing, and/or hospitality services related to food management, catering, etc.

• Must have a current City of Fort Worth Food Handlers Certification or completed an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited Food Handlers Certificate Program.

• Experience working on a cafeteria/tray line to include pushing food trays in a large cafeteria setting (e.g., hospitals, correctional institutions, colleges, etc.).

Cook:
Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience serving as a cook in a cafeteria setting.

• Current Food Handler’s certificate

• Team player

• Ability to multitask in fast paced environment.

• Excellent understanding of and ability to implement food safety and sanitation,

• Excellent customer service

• Solid time management skills

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Abilities Required:
Prolonged standing, sitting, walking, reading, writing, talking, use of computer. Hearing ability for verbal communication via telephone systems and person – to –person. Clear concise speaking ability to provide information and instruction. Must be able to communicate effectively in English (read, write, and speak clearly). Able to meet physical demands of the job with assistive or adaptive devices or reasonable accommodations.

Cashier:
Requirements:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.

• Prior cashier experience.

• Prior experience handling a cash register in a hospital cafeteria or cafe

• Must have a current City of Fort Worth Food Handlers Certification. OR completed an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited Food Handlers Certificate Program.
