CSS is working with a world class health system in need of a cook to prepare a variety of food items, recipes, and “to order” items for customers (e.g. grilled burgers, pizzas, pan pastas, stir fry, etc.). This individual will set up work stations with necessary supplies to prepare menu for service; clean and sanitize work area, work surfaces, production equipment and cooking tools; and will be responsible for serving and storing food in accordance with food safety guidelines.

Requirements:     

• 3+ years of experience serving as a cook in a cafeteria setting

• Current Food Handler’s certificate

• Team player

• Ability multitask in fast paced environment

• Excellent understanding of and ability to implement food safety and sanitation,

• Excellent customer service

• Solid time management skills

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Abilities Required: 

Prolonged standing, sitting, walking, reading, writing, talking, use of computer. Hearing ability for verbal communication via telephone systems and person – to –person. Clear concise speaking ability to provide information and instruction. Must be able to communicate effectively in English (read, write, and speak clearly).  Able to meet physical demands of the job with assistive or adaptive devices or reasonable accommodations.
