Collector

CSS is working with a respected national law firm out of Conroe, TX seeking a Collector for a contract assignment.

Responsibilities:

• Collect delinquent accounts for property taxes

• Located and monitor overdue accounts

• Locate and notify customers of delinquent accounts by mail or telephone

• Confer with customers by telephone about their accounts

• Persuade customers to pay amounts due or make arrangements for debt repayments and establish repayment schedules

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent REQUIRED

• Bilingual in Spanish REQUIRED

• Previous experience as a collector or in a related field PREFERRED

• Familiarity with Texas Property Tax system PREFERRED

• Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)

• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

• Self-motivated and self-directed; able to work with minimal supervision

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions

• Readily adapt to changing priorities
