Dispatcher

We have a great opportunity with a thriving logistics company in the Savannah area. They're looking for an experienced Dispatcher. Pay range is $18.50 to $19.50 (DOE). The ideal candidate must be able to:

Updating internal dispatch system (in/out dates & vessels data)

Create Pins from port system

Print and disseminate driver dispatch tickets

Review yard checks

Damage container resolution internal & external

Divert process internal and external

Chassis damage reporting

Additional duties may be assigned

Required:

Proficient in word, excel, outlook

Able to have flexible availability including weekends and some evenings during peak seasons
Strong communication skills, including an agreeable phone demeanor
Experienced in dispatching and the procedures behind dispatching
Able to utilize desk phone, cell phone, text, email and internet
Motivated and independent employee

The schedule for the dispatcher position will be 8am to 5pm.
