Material Handler moves products and parts throughout the production process (Warehouse to Production to Shipping).
We are looking for both day and night, 10-hour shift, Mon-Thu (possible Fri & Sat).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Locate, process move, and stage parts for production
Uses forklift, electric pallet-jack, and/or cart in moving and staging materials, parts, and finished product
Ensure the accuracy of inventory, location, quantity, and quality of product
Ensure that duties are accurately completed in a timely manner
Reads work order and follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or parts to be moved
Maximize use of available resources including RF and ADC equipment
SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred; or 1-3 months related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: 1-3 years of warehouse experience is preferred.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills with familiarity of AS400 software.
Certificates & Licenses: Must be certified in Company’s Powered Vehicle Operators certification program (requires a valid OK driver's license)
Other Requirements: Must be able to read and communicate in English. Knowledge of operational excellence principles, lean manufacturing, continuous improvement and 5S is preferred.
