Position: Product Screener/Packer
Pay Rate/Range: $14.58
Description: The Packer must be able to lift 29-19lbs independently and 200lbs occasionally as a team lift, continuously cut open packaged franks, must be able to work in a cold environment (32 – 34F) throughout a 10-hour shift, standing is required for continuous periods of time without being able to leave the work area. Must be able to grasp, hold and turn with hands and wrists continuously throughout the shift. Must have good hand-eye coordination, inspect, examine, and observe product defects, will be exposed to loud noises, work at a rapid pace for long periods of time, convey and exchange information with the team, take directions, some Saturdays and Sundays will be required, must be able to work longer than the scheduled shift hours as defined by the needs of the company.
Job Requirements: HSD/GED are required, previous food industry, production and/or manufacturing are preferred, with at least 1 year experience.
Job Type: Temporary to hire
Shift/Schedule:
Day Shift – Clock in time 6:15am AM to 6:30 AM, 6:31 AM you are late, points accrued, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday and Sundays (10 Hour Shift)
Night Shift – Clock in time is 3:30 PM – 3:45PM; 3:46PM Late points accrued, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday and Sundays (10 Hour Shift)
