2nd shift Fabrication - 10 hour shift, Mon-Thu (possible Fri & Sat).- 5pm to 3:30am Monday - Thursday Mandatory overtime Friday & Saturday Pay - $15.91 starting pay increases as you learn the machines Process - send Scott summary of skills he will schedule interview. If chosen 2nd interview with supervisor. Orientation - every Monday at 8am for overview of ClimateMasters - MUST BE COMPLETED - NON DOT PRE-EMPLOYMENT PHYSICAL, BG, DT POSITION SUMMARY Fabricate (sheet metal and copper tubing parts) and assembles water source heat pumps on production lines. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Operates hand tools (electrical, pneumatic, manual, or other) to install fasteners, terminals or other small components in the assembly process Reviews Drawings, Bills of Material, Work Instructions, Decoder information and other product documentation to ensure assembly work is completed per the specification Build units to specification by installing correct parts in the manner specified by work instructions and standard work Lifts and positions components and sub-assemblies for assembly Operates bridge crane and/or jib crane to lift and position parts and materials for assembly Ensure the quality of the parts and /or materials being delivered to the assembly line Utilizes brazing equipment and supplies to join copper components to assemble products Fabricate and prep sheet metal parts working in/or with, Insulation Booth, Paint-line, Press Brakes, Punch Press, Brakes, Copper Cutoff, Benders, and CNC work stations. Performs assembly work in a paced environment to ensure production TAKT times are consistently obtained, while maintaining safety and quality work practices Required to learn multiple processes and different work stations, as required Visually monitors work station carts, equipment and devices for defects or failures and notifies Team Lead or Supervisor for corrective action and repair Ensures the quality of the components and /or materials being installed in work station, meet the defined quality requirements. SKILLS & ABILITIES education: High School Diploma or GED preferred; or 6 months related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience: 1-3 years of assembly experience is preferred. Computer Skills: Basic computer skills preferred. Certificates & Licenses: N/A Other Requirements: Must be able to read and communicate in English. Knowledge of operational excellence principles, lean manufacturing, continuous improvement and 5S is preferred.
